I’m Alina – a professional calligrapher and educator based on the South Coast of the UK. With over a decade of experience in modern and brush calligraphy, I specialise in helping others find calm, confidence, and creative purpose through the art of lettering.
Calligraphy first found me in 2015 during a period of severe anxiety, and it quickly became more than a hobby – it was a mindful ritual that brought focus, peace, and a renewed sense of self. That personal transformation sparked a lifelong journey of learning, refining my craft, and sharing it with others.
Today, I teach calligraphy as both an expressive art form and a practical skill – guiding complete beginners through the foundations, supporting hobbyists as they grow their creative voice, and mentoring small business owners who want to turn their passion into a purposeful, profitable path.

Since 2019, I’ve taught hundreds of calligraphy workshops across East Sussex, London, and online - helping beginners build confidence and fall in love with modern calligraphy.
With nearly a decade of experience, I offer a calm, practical approach to learning dip pen modern calligraphy, brush lettering and watercolours through online classes, in-person events, private 1:1 sessions, group workshops, and creative experiences for teams or celebrations.
I truly believe anyone can learn with the right guidance - and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
