What level is this membership for?
The Blooming Calligraphers is perfect for beginners and early intermediate learners. Whether you've just picked up a brush pen or you're starting to explore your own style, you'll find guidance, support, and creative inspiration to help you grow.
I’m not based in the UK - can I still join?
Absolutely! The tutorials, resources, and courses are all available online and can be accessed from anywhere in the world, in your own time zone. Our community is international, and you’re warmly welcome wherever you’re joining from.
How much time do I need each week?
This is a go-at-your-own-pace membership. Some members dip in for 30 minutes a week, others spend more time diving into tutorials and practice. There's no pressure to keep up - the content is always there when you're ready for it.
What supplies will I need?
A basic brush pen or dip pen is a great place to start. Inside the membership, I offer recommendations and supply guides. You don’t need a huge stash to begin!
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes - you're free to cancel your monthly membership at any time. Annual memberships are non-refundable after 14 days, but you’ll continue to have access until the end of your subscription period.

I absolutely love being part of Blooming calligraphy membership! As someone new to modern calligraphy, I have never once regretted joining.
There is lot of variety tutorials in the membership! The 15-minute Tuesday tutorial is the perfect motivation to pick up my pen and practice every week. I love Blooming Calligraphers due to the variety of tutorials available from watercolour to the guest presenters as well as of course practicing calligraphy. There are a range of calligraphy styles to try to help find your own style. I’d say there was something for everyone if you’re strapped for time there are short tutorials to longer tutorials for when you have more time available. People in the facebook group are friendly and supportive and there is always the opportunity to ask questions.
I would highly recommend joining. You won’t regret it. There is so much wonderful creative content to keep you busy!

I’d totally recommend Blooming Calligraphers membership. Not only is Alina the most amazing and encouraging teacher, the group is so supportive. Everyone is so friendly, encouraging and helpful. It feels a really safe space to grow and share your projects and work.
There is an amazing amount of content to work through - incorporating watercolours, drawing as well as calligraphy, so there is always something to try and explore. But if you don’t that doesn’t matter … it’s there ready for you to access when you get time.
It’s definitely value for money!!

Since joining the membership I have developed in so many ways, it is inspiring how you can do brush pen one day, dip pen another, or fine liner detailing.
I love that you get a weekly focus in the form of Tutorial Tuesday and how you can revisit all the amazing content as many times as you like.
We have amazing monthly coffee and calligraphy sessions to start each month in a creative way alongside like minded people, even if you can’t make the session live the replay is available.
You have access to so many wonderful supplies, worksheet library, additional courses, live sessions including watercolour which I really enjoy.
Alina is such a kind, patient and thoughtful teacher, she is always on hand to offer guidance, support and she really cheers you on.
