Learn To Paint Watercolour Blueberries

Watercolours and hand-lettering

There’s a new video up on our Creative Feel Designs Youtube Channel and it has lots of summery vibes!

Join in for this simple watercolour tutorial and learn to paint beautiful branches of blueberries.
We’ll be working with muted forest colours and I’ll teach you how to map out your artwork before painting to make things a little bit easier.

Forest blueberry picking is so popular in my hometown - Riga.
We would have a family day out and come home with 5l jars of hand picked blueberries. Painting this has definitely brought up those childhood memories! I always find that adding a ‘story’ to the paintings helps my creativity flow. Give it a try, it might help you to go with the flow and let the brush do all the work.

Watercolour detail is a perfect way to embellish your calligraphy! You can use this design as a background on greeting cards or prints, it looks wonderful!
Try finishing off the look by lettering your favourite phrase with a Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen - it has a delicate, classic calligraphy style.
