Letter R Calligraphy Practice - PRINT YOUR FREE WORKSHEET
I remember when I started learning calligraphy 6 years ago - while I enjoyed practicing the alphabet, I found some letters so tricky! One of them was the letter ‘R’.
I thought that I’m probably not the only one who struggled with it, so I designed this worksheet which you can print and use for your next practice session.
It focuses on connecting the letter ‘R’ to the rest of the letters in the alphabet, and is a great exercise to help you master connection strokes with this particular letter.
Trace it slowly, remember to pick up your pen from the page often, try to separate each letter into individual shapes. Let me know what other letters you struggle with in the comments below.
TOOLS:
I recommend using a fine tip brush pen - Pentel or Tombow Fudenosuke brush.
You can also use your pointed pen with a nib (I recommend Nikko G).
Paper - make sure you practice on smooth cardstock, I recommend HP colourchoice or Rhodia pads.
