Pastel Calligraphy Inks

Pastel Calligraphy Inks
Add a bit of sunshine to your lettering practice!
These 4 new pastel ink colours are perfect for Spring lettering projects as well as everyday practice.
They look opaque on both - light and dark backgrounds, but some colours like ‘yellow’ might look more contrasting on darker card.
Colours available:
Sunshine (yellow)
Bloom (green)
Into The Blue
Dream Pink
These inks are designed to be used with a calligraphy nib and pen holder. ( I recommend Nikko G nib).
Please use a quality smooth card stock when using these inks to avoid ink bleeding.

These inks can also be used with a brush, but layering might be necessary to achieve an opaque / contrasting look.
The pigments in these inks tend to settle, so they require a very good shake prior to use.
Metallic inks need to be stirred (use the other side of your pen holder) or shaken often during lettering.
If you find that the ink is too thick for your project, add a few drops of water and give it a good shake.
If you find that it’s too watery - leave it open overnight, the excess water will evaporate naturally. You can also add a few drops of Gum Arabic to make the consistency thicker.
Make sure to wipe the top of the jar and screw the lid very tightly when finished lettering.
I hope you enjoy lettering with your new set of inks, if you have any questions feel free to contact me (hello@creativefeeldesigns.com).
