Join me for a calming and creative 2-hour calligraphy workshop for beginners at Starling Studio in Brighton (107 Havelock Road, BN1 6GL).

Whether you're new to calligraphy or want a relaxed space to explore your creativity, this hands-on workshop will guide you through the basics of modern dip pen calligraphy. You’ll learn how to form beautiful letter shapes, experiment with a pointed pen, colourful inks, and build confidence with your own writing style.

We'll spend time creating your own hand-lettered greeting cards and gift tags, ready to take home and share – perfect for upcoming birthdays, thank-you notes, or just-because messages. You'll leave with finished pieces, new skills, and plenty of inspiration to keep creating.

All materials will be provided for use during the class, and there will be an option to purchase your own calligraphy kit if you'd like to continue at home.

This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly session – no experience needed. Just come as you are and enjoy a couple of hours of creativity.
