Personalised Fillable Christmas Baubles
Oh what fun it is to make these baubles! The best part is that you can fill them with ANYTHING. I used glitter, but you can use dried flowers, sweets, eucalyptus branches etc. to give you a few ideas.
In this little tutorial I'll share the supply list and give you some tips on how to personalise these baubles.
The baubles themselves come in lots of different sizes. These are fairly small but that’s the look I was going for . Or if you'd like them to be a bit bigger, I saw some in Hobbycraft. I like the little ones because they have a nice little elegant opening at the top.
These are plastic, just because I don't trust myself to handle anything that's made out of glass, let alone ship it as a gift. BUT if you're a bit less clumsy than me, you might enjoy doing this on glass baubles instead. They are also available in Hobbycraft.

I got some chunky glitter from Amazon, and i used it to fill each bauble. You can also use fine glitter like pictured above.
If you're working with smaller baubles, I suggest rolling a little cone from the paper and placing it into the bauble to help with the glitter pouring. Otherwise it can all quickly turn into a hot mess, but nothing that a bit of hoovering can't solve.
You can use a brush to break the glitter up a bit more, once it's already inside the bauble. just dab it around the bauble walls to scatter it around a bit more.
You can add a lovely ribbon, I really love the quality of the satin look ribbons, they just make everything look extra elegant.
If this is a gift, the presentation of the bauble will matter. I love placing these into a little cardboard box with a bit of a crinkle paper to pad them.
You can personalise the box too, and even add some craft string and dried orange slices.
I made these to personalise some of my Christmas kits and they turned out so lovely.
You might also come across some lovely pre-filled baubles, I found these in The Range and I just knew that I want to personalise them the moment I saw them.
I hope you find this inspiring! Maybe it has even sparked up some other ideas! I hope you give it a go. :)
